My truck is only 4 years old so to me the paint should not be bubbling... cracking and pealing off. I am no mechanic but I think even an idiot should be able to tell that there is either something wrong with the paint OR it was sprayed wrong. I am only 5'4 so looking at the top of the cab is not something that I do... I was talking to someone and just happened to stand on the side of the rail and look over my truck and that is when I spotted the issue... I was not happy. Who knows how long it had been like that! I did not notice on the hood at that time since it had snowed prior and there was salt residue on the truck. I called the people that I purchased the vehicle from...NO HELP AS USUAL... so I called Ford thinking that they would be more than happy to help me out... after all I was a loyal customer of Ford... HA NO HELP... plus I had some rude jerk on the phone that told me that b/c it was out of warranty it was my problem. So I decided to wash my truck and go over it very carefully... the same thing is starting on the hood... another confirmation that it is something with the paint!! They want me to pay an arm and a leg to repaint just the hood and the top of the cab even though Ford should take care of the whole thing... I always said that I would be a die hard Ford person until I croak.... well not anymore... I would rather buy a kia than deal with people like this! I am so disgusted!
