My car has clearcoat fish eyes and deep pits in paint!! The dealer Asheville Chevrolet said they would touch up and fix the paint and they tried twice even putting a fingerprint in paint and then sent to MAACO and it looked like it was buffed with sandpaper and then GM sent to another dealer which only buffed car and that revealed the defects that were under the clearcoat even more and are now coming up on the rest of car and I am pursuing lawsuit against Asheville Chevrolet and GM

We bought this brand new in October of 2006 as an end of the year deal. the paint was fine for the first couple of months we had it but then after those couple of months the paint started to take on a dull appearance and looked like it had sat out in the middle of an open field under the sun for a year or more. Luckily my husband used to do body work and is good at buffing cars and we had to buff the car to bring back the new paint job shine on it like it was the first day we bought it. PS the cars Black on Black
